MIWA Milk
MIWA Milk is a lactose free formula specially formulated for growing children who needs a wide variety of nutrients for growth and development. It promotes healthy brain development and proper nerve function. MIWA is a highly nutritious and an easily digestible food for children above 12 months old. 


MIWA Milk contains ingredients which are naturally gluten-free and nutritious which are rich in vitamins, minerals and protein minus the casein making it an ideal replacement for lactose-intolerant children.


It consists of Organic Quinoa, Organic Millet, Brown Rice, GABA (gamma-amino butyric acid) rich Germinated Brown Rice, DHA from sea algae, Fructo-Oligosaccharide (FOS) and Pea Protein, a vegetable source of protein, without the worry of allergy response to soy.


Suggested Use
2-3 scoops mix with 150ml of warm water, mix well and ready to be served.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR A HEALTHY BRAIN?

BALANCED SUGAR
As sugar is the fuel for the brain. Too much sugar will cause hyperactivity and difficulty in concentration whilst too little sugar will cause lethargy, irritability and difficulty in concentration. We need adequate supply of sugar to be released slowly to provide continuous fuel for the brain. The goal is not to have sharp spikes of sugar.

NECESSARY FATS
We need good fats to build a healthy brain as 60% of of the dried weight of the brain is made up of fats. Deficiencies in specific kinds of fats can have detrimental impact on intelligence and behavior. Omega-3 fatty acids are a form of polyunsaturated fat, and is one of the best food for the mind. Studies have shown that regular intake of omega-3 fatty acids can improve blood flow in the brain, improve mood and memory function.

ESSENTIAL VITAMINS & MINERALS
Research has shown that B-complex vitamins plus vitamin C, and the minerals calcium, magnesium and zinc are the most relevant nutrients in brain function. B complex vitamins are important for various functions of the human body such as energy production, body defense mechanism or red blood cell formation. Vitamin B12 in particular has a great impact on the neurological health. Studies have shown that children have higher chances of developing depression in adulthood with deficiencies in vitamin B12 during childhood.
