Advance Features - Apps Support

It is available for download from Apple Apps Store and Android Play Store.


  1. Apps and 2.4G Bluetooth Speaker are using separate Bluetooth connection. They are connected separately and differently.
  2. Apps is not connect from the phone's Bluetooth setting, perhaps, it is connect in the Apps. Kindly refer the procedures in the following.
  3. Please make sure to turn ON your phone's Bluetooth to use the apps.



  1. Apps support enable user to fine tune the sensitivity, top speed, and turning force, to suit a particular user riding style.
  2. For instances, kids or light weight users are needed to set lower turning force (Level 1~2), otherwise, the hoverboard will vibrate when you step on.
  3. Adults and advance users are more suitable to set the turning force at level 3~5. The maximum turning force is level 6.
  4. It also shows the real time speed, battery level, temperature of the mainboard, and mileage.

The apps is simple, come with 3 pages; that are setting page, monitoring page, and connection page.

By default, you will start with the monitoring page when you enter the apps.

Click the connection button to enter the connection page.

Then, click on the device name (by default is TaoTao), and wait for password request to pop up.

Enter the device password and hit "OK" (default password is 000000).

Click Monitoring button to enter monitoring page.

In this page, you can monitor your

  1. Riding speed
  2. Mileage
  3. Total Mileage
  4. Real time current drainage
  5. Battery level
  6. Mainboard Temperature
  7. Lock/Unlock device (need to get off board first)

Click on "Setting" to enter setting page. You need to get off board in order to edit the setting.

In this page, you can:

  1. Rename your device
  2. Change Password
  3. Track your location (your phone location on map not the Hoverboard/Self Balancing Scooter, phone must have location service turned on)
  4. Set top speed (6km/h up to 18km/h)
  5. Set driving force (force to turn the Hoverboard/Self Balancing Scooter when you move your foot, 1 to 6 levels)
  6. Set steering sentivity (the foot movement amount corresponding to the driving force)
  7. Display hardware and software version
  8. Display self check info
  9. Set the device auto shut down timer when not in use

Advance Features - Auto Reposition

The CoolWheel hoverboard will automatically rotate itself to flat position whenever you switch it on or step off from the hoverboard.

This feature is automatically off/take over by user when the user is step on the CoolWheel.

        1. Cancellation
          • Request for cancellation if product has not been dispatched after payment completion.
          • Strictly no cancellation for E-voucher after purchased.
        2. Return
          • Request for return within 7 calendar days following delivery date.
          • Check seller's approval on buyer's request.
          • Buyer sends product in question to buyer.
          • Seller receives and checks returned product.
          • Seller approves return and return is completed.

        How to Request for Cancellation/Return/Exchange

        • You can request for cancellation after completing payment and if product has not been dispatched by then, cancellation request is approved and you can receive refund.
          But, in case seller has already dispatched product, cancellation request can be rejected.
        • You can request for return after obtaining product, you should send the product in question to seller.
          After seller checks if returned product is flawed, and approves your request, return is completed and payment is refunded.
        • You can request for exchange if wrong product is shipped, you should send the product in question to seller.
          After seller checks if returned product is flawed, seller approves your request, and re-sends new product.

        Criteria for Return/Exchange

        You can request for return/exchange within 7 calendar days following delivery date. But return/exchange request cannot be made in following cases:

        • When product is used, destroyed or damaged
        • When tag attached to product is removed or package of product is opened and product value is damaged
        • When sealed package is opened or packaging materials are lost
        • When too much time has passed and product value has so decreased that its re-sale is not possible

        • When components of product (including free gift) have been used or lost
