Will my laptop fit?

The Bobby has a special pocket to keep your Laptop safe and secure during your travels. This pocket is big enough for all laptops up to 14"

Is there a powerbank included in the backpack?

No, the backpack will be delivered without the powerbank.

There is a simple connection inside the backpack that make sure that you can easily connect all powerbanks that are on the market (by USB plug)

This way the powerbank will never be outdated and you can keep using new models to charge your devices, because this backpack will last for years!

What is the output of the cable?

The cable has an output of 2.4A

What is the content of the backpack?

The Bobby backpack will hold 11L

What is the weight of the backpack?

The weight of the backpack empty is 820 gr.

Can I change my color after the campaign ended? 

This is unfortunately not possible. You choose your color when clicking on your perk, as they are color specific. During the campaign (so when it is still live) you can easily cancel your pledge and make a new pledge for a different color if you wish. 

However after the campaign ended this is not possible anymore, as we will base our production run on the chosen colors.

Where can I fill in my delivery address?

At the end of the project we will send out a survey to all our backers. In this survey we will collect all data from you, including the most important details...your delivery address and telephone number. 

Do you offer free shipping?

We sure do! All prices at the perks are including shipment worldwide!

Will I have to pay duties/VAT to receive my perk?

We will do our upmost best to prevent this from happening, but any applicable duties/VAT are the sole responsibility of the backer, and not our team. We have absolutely no control over the additional duties/VAT that may or may not be charged in your country. If you are unsure whether or not you will be charged duties/VAT at the time of receiving your perk, please get in touch with your local post office.

What is the refund policy?

Due to the nature of Indiegogo as a crowdfunding platform, we cannot offer refunds to backers once the project ends. Once the campaign ends, your perks are immediately turned into a hard production order, this because we don't want to let anybody down on the delivery time. Therefore we cannot offer refunds once the campaign has ended.

What if something is wrong with my backpack once receiving it?

In the very exceptional case of this happening, we will of course offer you the best service to find a suitable solution for you. We are available through mail: bobby@xd-design.com, live chat at www.xd-design.com or through the message board here on indiegogo. 

I see there is also a campaign live on TaoBao for this backpack, why is this?

As you might have read in our campaign page, this backpack came to life with a collaboration between the West and the East. We also have our Design office located in Shanghai (With designers from over the whole world, you can read more on www.xd-design.com/about-us) we have always had a very close connection to the Chinese market and of course also want to introduce this great backpack there. So why not together at the same time?

The Indiegogo platform is perfect for worldwide exposure, but unfortunately after research found out that it is almost not used in China, this is why we have the TaoBao campaign live in China.

Return / Exchange Policy

  1. Cancellation
    • Request for cancellation if product has not been dispatched after payment completion.
  2. Return
    • Request for return within 7 calendar days following delivery date.
    • Check seller’s approval on buyer’s request.
    • Buyer sends product in question to seller.
    • Seller receives and checks returned product
    • Seller approves return and return is completed.
  3. Exchange
    • Request for exchange within 7 calendar days following receipt of delivery.
    • Check seller’s approval on buyer’s request.
    • Buyer sends product in question to seller.
    • Seller receives and checks returned product
    • Seller send new product to buyer, and buyer receives it, and exchange is completed.
  • How to Request for Cancellation/Return/Exchange
    • You can request for cancellation after completing payment and if product has not been dispatched by then, cancellation request is approved and you can receive refund.
      But, in case seller has already dispatched product, cancellation request can be rejected.
    • You can request for return after obtaining product, you should send the product in question to seller.
      After seller checks if returned product is flawed, and approves your request, return is completed and payment is refunded.
    • You can request for exchange if wrong product is shipped, you should send the product in question to seller.
      After seller checks if returned product is flawed, seller approves your request, and re-sends new product.
  • Criteria for Return/Exchange

    You can request for return/exchange within 7 calendar days following delivery date. But return/exchange request cannot be made in following cases:

    • When request due to change of mind is made after 7 calendar days following delivery date
    • When product is used, destroyed or damaged
    • When tag attached to product is removed or package of product is opened and product value is damaged
    • When sealed package is opened or packaging materials are lost
    • When too much time has passed and product value has so decreased that its re-sale is not possible
    • When return/exchange request is made for customized product such as hand-made shoes or accessories
    • When components of product (including free gift) have been used or lost
    • When buyer did not follow instructions included in product
  • As e-voucher products are immediately sent to your e-mail, returns/exchanges are not available. Please take note of this before purchase, and input your e-mail address correctly.
  • As Mobile Top-up products are directly reloaded on your cell phone number, returns/exchanges are not available. Please take note of this before purchase, and enter your cell phone number correctly.
