With 8 servings of Appeton Wellness 60+ a day, sufficient amount of energy and nutrients for an elderly’s daily requirement is provided. The energy distribution is designed according to the United States Dietary Reference Intake (US DRI) for elderly and the fat composition complies with The American Heart Association’s Nutrition Committee fat guideline.

Appeton Wellness 60+ is formulated with specific quantity and quality of protein that meet the needs of an elderly. The protein in Appeton Wellness 60+ is a slow-release protein (casein protein). It supplies a gradual amount of protein to the body without burdening the kidney. It will also help maintain the muscle mass and prevent the breakdown of muscles, without causing a protein spike in the elderly. Since kidney function deteriorates as you age, a lower and slower release of protein content in Appeton Wellness 60+ makes it more kidney-friendly for the elderly.

Appeton Wellness 60+ contains high quality protein that includes all the essential amino acids which cannot be synthesis from the body.  Appeton Wellness 60+ also obtains the highest possible Protein Digestibility Corrected Amino Acid Score (PDCAAS*) of 1.0 (A PDCAAS value of 1 is the highest, and 0 the lowest).  The PDCAAS rating is a fairly recent evaluation method and been adopted by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations/Would Health Organization (FAO/WHO) in 1993 as “the preferred best” method to determine protein Quality.

Refunds generally take 7 days, however may take up to 14 days to complete during peak times. We will NOT accept returns of items with obvious signs of use.
